Apple Drops First Trailer for New Sci-Fi Series ‘See’ Starring Jason Momoa

Apple just released the first trailer for their new original series See starring Jason Momoa.

The series description reads: “an epic drama set 600 years in the future after a virus has decimated humankind and rendered the remaining population blind. When all humanity has lost the sense of sight, humans must adapt and find new ways to survive.”

In addition to Momoa, the series also stars Alfre Woodard.

Check out the epic first look at the upcoming series below.

Jason Momoa will play a character named Baba Voss. His character is described as a fearless warrior, a leader, and a guardian.

See is written by Steven Knight and is directed by Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2). Both Knight and Lawrence will also serve as executive producers along with Peter Chernin, Jenno Toppin and Kristen Campo of Chernin Entertainment. See is a joint venture of Chernin Entertainment and Endeavor Content.

Though he’s been making waves on the big screen as DC’s Aquaman, Momoa is no stranger to television. He is also best known for his role as Khal Drogo in season one of HBO’s epic drama series Game of Thrones. Additionally, he stars in Netflix’s action/adventure series Frontier as Declan Harp, a part-Irish, part-Native American outlaw campaigning to breach the fur trade and continuing his warpath against the Hudson Bay Company’s monopoly. Momoa can also be seen in the upcoming star-studded remake of Dune which will hit theaters next year.
