SDCC 2019: DC Titans Season 2 Premieres this Fall with Deathstroke, Wonder Girl and More Revealed

CR: DC Entertainment Warner Bros. Television

DC Universe’s first live-action TV series Titans has been a great success for the new streaming service, but there is much speculation for what’s to come for season 2.

In season 1 retired vigilante, Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) left his crime – fighting days behind him to just focus being a detective until he meets teenager Rachel Roth/Raven (Teagan Croft). Throughout the season on their investigation into Rachel’s strange powers they meet future allys’ Starfire (Anna Diop), Beast Boy (Ryan Potter), and Jason Todd (Curran Walters). Doom Patrol also makes their first appearance in the series.

The Season 1 finale left Dick Grayson in a nightmarish timeline by the manipulations of Raven’s father, the demon Trigon. Grayson finds himself in a dark Gotham City as Robin having to take down his former mentor. Batman’s appearances were teased all season but no confirmed actor tied to the role. According to The Wrap Game of Thrones’s Iain Glen has officially been cast to play Bruce Wayne/Batman for season 2.

During San Diego Comic Con, DC revealed a sneak peak of what’s to come for next season premiering September 6 exclusively on DC’s streaming service.

Audience members took to Twitter to share the news. We can expect to see Aqualad, Wonder Girl, Deathstroke and season one’s end credit scene teasers, Superboy and Super dog Krypto make there debut. SDCC dropped Titans season 2 footage revealing the new season’s cast in full uniform.

I predict a future epic fight scene between Robin and Slade for season 2 a strong possibility. Unclear if Titans will drop their season 2 trailer. Will update here as soon as it happens.

DC also went on to announce Doom Patrol has been renewed for a second season and will be available on the DC streaming service and HBO Max. Along with sneak peaks of there animated series Harley Quinn and season 4 Young Justice.
