‘Arrow’ Season 8 Brings Back Familiar Faces

Arrow
The CW

As filming for Arrow‘s eighth and final season commences, it seems as though a few familiar faces are set to appear as Arrow comes to an end.

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we now know that Colin Donnell and Josh Segarra will guest-star in the Green Arrow’s final season. Donnell played Oliver’s best friend in Season 1, and Segarra starred as season 5’s big bad, Adrian Chase- aka Prometheus. Obviously, both characters are dead but that has never stopped Arrow bringing them back. So, fans can expect a few twists and turns when these characters return.

According to showrunner and executive producer Beth Schwartz. Adrian Chase is set to come back in a completely different way than expected. Previously, Adrian returned as a vision but it looks as though we’re in for a surprise. Marc Guggenheim also teased that Tommy is “not coming back as the Tommy we know”.

With still a long wait to go, CW have released the final season’s official synopsis:

“Oliver will find himself pit against his most challenging battle yet, one that will leave the multiverse hanging in the balance,”

“In Arrow’s final season, Oliver Queen is forced to confront the reality of what it means to be a hero.”

Arrow’s final season returns on October 15th on the CW. While you wait to say goodbye to the Emerald Archer, catch the CW’s San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday, July 20th at 3:30.

What do you think will happen with Tommy and Prometheus in the final season of Arrow? post your thoughts in the comments and let us know how you would like to see these amazing characters return.
