Is Lady Gaga joining ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?’

Rumors are spreading all throughout the galaxy that Lady Gaga might be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe where she will reunite with Bradley Cooper for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 doesn’t have a release date yet and the only thing we know for sure plot-wise is that the film will set-up the next 10 years of the MCU.

Director James Gunn, has kept most of the film under wraps. Will we see Nebula, Thor and a 2014 version of Gamora? One character Gunn will tackle is Rocket Raccoon. Last month he confirmed that he is excited to finish the “sweet rabbit’s” arc.

Bradley Cooper has voiced Rocket throughout the Guardians franchise and an “insider” has revealed to Hollywoodlife that Gaga may voice Rocket’s love interest. It’s no surprise that after the success of A Star is Born, fans are loving the rumor.

In the comics, Rocket has a soulmate named Lylla, a sentient otter who is the heiress to the largest toymaking empire on Halfworld. Rocket fought in the Toy War for her freedom and her affection.

“‘There is a very strong possibility that Lady Gaga and Bradley will be working together again on Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Only some cast names have been released but the word is Bradley will reprise his role of Rocket Raccoon and Gaga will play his love interest. Their characters are animated but still, it’s exciting. Audiences want them together and certainly everyone recognizes that appeal, they’re box office gold together, it’s very likely that this will happen,’ the insider shared.”

Cooper, Gaga and Marvel have neither confirmed or denied the rumor so we’ll have to wait and see.
