What to Watch: Films for June 28
Happy weekend everyone! So I have a confession to make- I write this post weekly and I was so pumped to go see the new Spider-man movie. The only problem, it didn’t come out last weekend… it comes out this upcoming Tuesday. How could I have not known that when I got to the theater? I feel so silly. Anyway, I have another couple of days to be pumped and in the meantime, I’m gonna go see Yesterday.
Annabelle Comes Home
While babysitting the daughter of Ed and Lorraine Warren, a teenager and her friend unknowingly awaken an evil spirit trapped in a doll.
Yesterday
A struggling musician realizes he’s the only person on Earth who can remember The Beatles after waking up in an alternate timeline where they never existed.
Maiden- 2018
The story of Tracy Edwards, a 24-year-old cook on charter boats, who became the skipper of the first ever all-female crew to enter the Whitbread Round the World Race in 1989.
Ophelia- 2018
A re-imagining of Hamlet, told from Ophelia’s perspective.
Three Peaks- 2017
Aaron wants to become a family with his girlfriend and her 8-year-old son, but high up in the Italian Dolomites, his attempts to win the boy’s acceptance turn into a dangerous power game.

The Last Whistle
When the all-star player of the local high school football team collapses during practice, all eyes turn to the storied head coach. Instead of mollifying the situation, the coach tries to maintain the team’s winning streak. The town turns against him, leading to a lawsuit from the player’s mother.
And a bonus, because I clearly can’t wait for this movie to come out…
Spider-Man: Far From Home
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.
