‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ Final Trailer

Do you know what song I never imagined to suit a trailer all about city-destroying Kaiju? Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Don’t ask me how they did it, but it works beautifully.

With just over a month to go, Warner Bros. released the final trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters and I cannot emphasize how excited I am. Just when you’d think that these trailers couldn’t get more epic, this final trailer ramps it by ten.

One of my favourite moments from the trailer was that little nod to Wizard of Oz.

“Mothra, Rodan, Ghidorah, Oh my!”

How could you not smile at that?

With each new trailer I am so certain that this will be a fantastic treat for all action movie lovers. Even if you don’t know the original mythology surrounding the Kaiju, I don’t think this is a movie you’ll want to miss. It’s definitely promising to be a fun and exciting spectacle filled with stunning Kaiju-fighting action and large scale destruction. Buy some popcorn and enjoy the show. The main event will of course be the final confrontation between Ghidorah and Godzilla. Two Gods going up against each other for dominance.

One King to rule them all.
