Up until now, each trailer for the upcoming film Detective Pikachu has been about fun. The brand new trailer just released on Monday, however, is about a different f-word; feels!
The new look at the upcoming film shows a beautiful and harmonious Pokemon world, as well as some touching moments between Pikachu and his fellow pokemon friends too. All the while Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World is playing adding that extra touch of sentiment to the footage.
The final scene of the trailer, however, is what really packs an emotional punch when the adorable little Pikachu is having a heart-to-heart with his buddy Tim about his missing dad.
Check out the emotional and super sweet new trailer below shared by film star Ryan Reynolds with the caption, “A little shot of wonderful for a weary world.” Can somebody pass the tissues, please?

The film also stars Justice Smith (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) as Tim; Kathryn Newton (Lady Bird, TV’s Big Little Lies) as Lucy, a junior reporter following her first big story; and Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe (Godzilla, The Last Samurai) as Lt. Yoshida.
