‘Halo Reach’ Heads To ‘Master Chief Collection’, Which Heads To PC

Halo-philes rejoice! We had seen plenty of rumors that we may get an announcement that Halo: The Master Chief Collection was headed to PC and would be revealed as such on the March 12th Inside Xbox show. Well, it is even better than that.

Not only are you going to be able to play all of the glorious Halo Master Chief Collection on your personal computer, but an additional title is headed with it. Check the tweet!

The tweet reads –

Anyone for 🍕? Halo: Reach is coming to the Master Chief Collection! Here’s 343’s Community Director @ske7ch with the deep dish. #InsideXbox

Halo Reach is arguably my favorite Halo title. Bungie’s last hurrah was a love story to the Halo franchise, introducing us to a group of lower tier Spartans fighting to defend their home against the Covenant and help the military research that could save the planet leave safely. Microsoft is including the multiplayer for free, but the campaign and Firefight mode will require a purchase unless you have Game Pass (which will give you all of it for free).

Unfortunately with all of this news I do not see a release date anywhere. The PC releases do seem to be staggered, in that they will come out one by one. Something is better than nothing, right? I have also not seen anything as to whether or not those who have Game Pass on Xbox will be able to download the Master Chief Collection for free on PC, given it is on Game Pass. Everything is in it’s early announcement stages, so it is probably best to be patient.

Just how excited are you for these reveals? Are you more excited that the game is coming to PC or that we will finally have Halo Reach finalizing the Master Chief Collection? In any case, stay tuned to Fan Fest as we will try our best to fill you in as these dates drop!
