The Flash Preview ‘Failure is an Orphan’
According to Nora’s book, the day has arrived in which Barry finally stops Cicada. My first question is, how she can know this if Cicada was never caught in her future? Did she gain this intel from Wells? Or has the future changed enough that Nora now has this knowledge? Regardless, it’s the day, so Team Flash is going to be working hard to put an end to the villain’s reign. Barry’s plan is to offer him the cure, but I have a feeling he isn’t going to go for that. Will Barry be forced to use the cure anyway?
In the future, something is coming. A long time ago, we were shown a countdown, but had no idea what it was for. Theories were circulating that it was to Wells’ execution. Now, we have the crytic words “Something is struggling to break through. Or someone.” Who is it? Is Barry returning to the future following his disappearance all those years ago? Was Wells setting everything up so that he could save Barry only to kill him? It seems like this week’s episode will be a turning point as we could wrap up the Cicada arc and start on whatever is in the works with Wells, which is exciting. I want some answers, and we might finally be getting some.
