Lauren Cohan Celebrates Wrapping on Filming Season One of ‘Whiskey Cavalier’

Did you catch the special preview of ABC’s new series Whiskey Cavalier after the Oscars on Sunday night? The new series is a blast and stars two incredible leads The Walking Dead‘s Lauren Cohan and Scandal‘s Scott Foley.

The new series is a combination of genres having elements of a spy drama mixed in with a romantic comedy. The synopsis for the pilot episode is as follows, “Following an emotional breakup, tough but tender FBI super-agent Will Chase (code name: “Whiskey Cavalier”) is assigned to work with badass CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (code name: “Fiery Tribune”). Together, they must lead an inter-agency team of flawed, funny and heroic spies who periodically save the world – and each other – while navigating the rocky roads of friendship, romance, and office politics.” Cohan plays Frankie while Foley is Will Chase.

Even though the series is just getting started, it looks like season one has already wrapped filming. Cohan, who typically shies away from social media, marked the occasion via Instagram just ahead of the show’s post-Oscars sneak peek. In her post, she writes, “And that’s a wrap for season one! Off to sleep soon here. 🤩 If you watch Whiskey tonight, enjoy enjoy enjoy! And thanks for being as pumped about me instagramming more as I was to discover all textonphotosmusicinstoriespuppyrabbitglitteralllllloveryourfacedontforgetTVzoooom!frenchberetladyormanfilters. Between that and Toon blast, good luck getting me out. See you tomorrow. ;)”

The series also stars Ana Ortiz as Susan Sampson, Tyler James Williams as Edgar Standish and Vir Das as Jai Datta.

Whiskey Cavalier is a Warner Bros. Television production from writer/executive producer David Hemingson and executive producers Bill Lawrence and Jeff Ingold (Doozer Productions). Peter Atencio serves as executive producer and is the director on the pilot, and Scott Foley is a producer of the series.
