‘Zombieland 2: Double Tap’ adds Thomas Middleditch
The Zombieland sequel cast list keeps growing with the addition of Thomas Middleditch.
Middleditch is cast in a supporting role and is the third actor confirmed to be joining the OG cast along with Zoey Deutch and Rosario Dawson. There are still no details on how these three actors factor into the film.
The OG cast includes Emma Stone as Wichita, Woody Harrelson as Tallahassee, Jesse Eisenberg as Columbus and Abigail Breslin as Little Rock.
Zombieland 2: Double Tap will be set in a world in which our heroes must face off against many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. These new zombies are either Homers (dumb ones), Hawkings (smart ones) or Ninjas (deadly ones).
The sequel picks up a decade after the first.
“Through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, the Zombie slayers must face off against many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.”
Middleditch will next be seen in Godzilla: King of the Monsters and stars on HBO’s Silicon Valley.
Zombieland 2: Double Tap will hit theaters on October 11, 2019.
