Paramount has finally released their first full trailer for their upcoming remake of Pet Sematary. Based on the 1983 Stephen King novel, the film follows a Doctor, Louis Creed, who moves to the small town of Ludlow with his family in tow. The town is not what it seems and Creed begins to learn the secrets of a mysterious cemetery nearby that was once an ancient burial ground. The novel was previously made into a movie in 1989.

The spooky trailer gives our first real look at the sleepy town of Ludlow, the undead nightmares that begin to arise from the burial ground and the desperation of a father who has lost too much.

The film is Directed by Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer, stars Jason Clarke (Louis Creed), John Lithgow (Jud Crandall) and Amy Seimetz (Rachel Creed) and will be released on April 5th, 2019. The film is currently not rated but I think it’s safe to say that it will be rated R like the previous film.
