‘Fortnite’ Season 7 Challenges – Week 9!

What’s up Fortniters!? We are almost to season 8, but it is not time to slow down yet! Week 9’s challenges are now available to play, so let’s take a look at what we have to do in order to level up our last tiers.

Free Challenges

• Use A Sneaky Snowman in three matches

This one is a bit new to all of us, but familiar. The sneaky snowman is similar to the bush, but it is more or less a 100 point shield and you cannot build or use a weapon while wearing it. You can however throw it to the ground for cover or on an enemy to confuse them!

• (Stages) Land at Retail Row, Frosty Flights, Haunted Hills, Shifty Shafts, and Dusty Divot

Another stage challenge for us to complete. At the beginning of each match just drop down to the above locations. Make sure you do them in order, and it will require at least five matches of your time!

• Eliminate three opponents at Junk Junction or Retail Row (Hard)

Another day, another elimination challenge. Thankfully if you start the above challenge you may be able to get a kill and get two birds with one… shotgun? In any case, just hang around and try to finish off two more, or land at Junk Junction and try it.

Paid Challenges

• Pop 10 golden balloons

This is a super simple one. All you have to do is find and pop. These are scattered all over the map, but are pretty easy to see. A good strategy to not give away your location with gunfire is to pop them with your pickaxe.

• (Stages) Dance on a sundial, an oversized cup of coffee, and a giant metal dog head

Unfortunately yes, as a stage challenge you have to play three matches to complete this one. The sundial is on one of the plateaus southeast of Fatal Fields, very hard to miss if you are dropping in or gliding overhead. The giant cup of coffee is the one at that new diner/shop next to Dusty Divot, and the dog head is over at Junk Junction. This one should be easy and on your last landing maybe you can take out someone for your elimination challenge above.

• Three shotgun eliminations (Hard)

This says it is hard, but the shotgun up close is a single shot killing machine. If you play a mode like Team Rumble, or even just drop into Tilted Towers, you should be able to rack up plenty of these. Just go looking for the best shotgun you can and aim for the head.

• Complete two timed trials in an X-4 Stormwing plane (Hard)

Now this one is hard. The time trials can be tricky enough before you add a plane into the mix. Now, in all fairness Epic has done a great job with the controls on the Stormwing, but time trials just stink in video games. As you have to do it, you will have to head to a few different areas. You can go to quadrant D2 between Lazy Links and Pleasant Park, the southwestern tip of the polar area, or fly above the abandoned mansion between Wailing Woods and the race track in the desert.
