Well, this is a pretty star-studded win for Netflix. The streaming service just secured the rights for Antonio Campos’ film The Devil All the Time, based on Donald Ray Pollock’s novel of the same name, and to say the cast is incredible would be an understatement.

Major Marvel players Tom Holland (Spider-Man) and Chris Evans (Captain America) are slated to star alongside Robert Pattinson, Gabriel Ebert, and Mia Wasikowska. According to VarietyBill Skarsgard (It) and Eliza Scanlen (Sharp Objects) have just boarded the project as well. To add another popular name to the mix, Jake Gyllenhaal produced the project with Riva Marker and their Nine Stories production company. Netflix announced the news in a tweet earlier today.

The Devil All the Time is being described as “a midwestern gothic involving a serial killer couple, a faith-testing preacher, and a corrupt local sheriff in a story told across two decades set in a place called Knockemstiff, Ohio – a forgotten backwoods where a storm of faith, violence and redemption brews.” Antonio Campos (The Sinner) will direct the film from a script that he wrote with Paul Campos with Randall Poster and Max Born producing alongside Nine Stories. Annie Marter and Jacob Jaffke will executive produce.

Netflix soon has another big name movie coming to their service in March when Ben Affleck’s Triple Frontier drops. The film stars Affleck, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund, Oscar Isaac, and Pedro Pascal as five friends who reunite to take down a South American drug lord in the notorious Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil border zone.
