Watch Stan Lee’s Firey and Final Animated Cameo

This Sunday’s episode of Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest will include Stan Lee’s final animated voice over cameo, and it’s available to view.

Marvel.com confirms that Stan Lee is set to appear in the episode titled “T’Chanda”. The episode takes place in the 1940s and will feature Lee as the voice of a tough army general. In the clip, we see Lee’s character reprimanding Arnim Zola for his constant threats and hatred.

“Hate doesn’t make you strong, hate makes you weak” he says passionately.

Marvel Senior Vice President, Animation & Family Entertainment, Cort Lane writes, “That particular episode [of Marvel’s Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest] has personal meaning for me. I believe it’s his last recorded appearance in animation. It’s bittersweet, but I’m so glad we were able to capture a message that was very true to how Stan felt about the world and that inspired him to write a lot of the stories that he did.”

Lee, a legend in comics, had hand in creating some of the most successful comics in history, including Spider-Man and Black Panther, who he and Jack Kirby created in 1966’s Fantastic Four #52. Lee died at age 95 in November 2018.

Mark Hamill and Hayley Atwell also appear in the episode.

Disney XD’s, Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest stars James Mathis III as T’Challa/Black Panther, Daisy Lightfoot as Shuri, Scott Porter as Hunter/White Wolf, Keston John as Killmonger, Trevor Devall as Klaue, Wynn Everett as Madame Masque and Matt Mercer as Tiger Shark, Mark Hamill as Arnim Zola and Stan Lee in a currently unknown role. It airs every Sunday.
