‘A Star is Born’ Blu-ray Release Date and Details
In early October of 2018, another remake of A Star is Born was released in theatres. The movie starred Bradley Cooper who also directed the movie, and Lady Gaga. Supporting actors included Dave Chapelle, Sam Elliot, and Andrew Dice Clay. A Star is Born remained in theatres for longer than two months after it was first released.
On January 15, A Star is Born will be digitally released across a variety of platforms such as iTunes and Amazon Prime Video. On February 19, the movie will be released on 4K Ultra HD as well as standard Blu-ray and DVD and is available for pre-order today! Below, each exclusive edition of the release has been broken down in order to fans decide where they will purchase their copy of A Star is Born.
Pictured above is the Best Buy exclusive steelbook edition of A Star is Born. The Blu-ray and DVD combo pack goes for $29.99, and it is also available in 4K Ultra HD for $34.99.
The Target exclusive Blu-ray is pictured above and goes for $26.99. According to the item’s page on Target’s website, this edition of A Star is Born includes twenty minutes of exclusive bonus content showcasing what it was like to film some of the concert scenes in the movie.
As with any movie available on Blu-ray, there’s the standard edition for those of us who wish to own the movie without anything too extravagant. The standard edition is available in 4K Ultra HD ($29.95) as well as the standard Blu-ray and DVD combo pack ($24.99) from Amazon as well as Target, Best Buy, and many other retailers.
