Nightmares Are Born in The ‘Us’ Trailer

There is nothing more fun than a family vacation to the beach, right? What could possibly be more relaxing than the feeling of the warm sun on your face, the sand in between your toes or splitting a 6-pack of beer with some friends?

However, if there is one thing that the movie business has taught us – it is that no family vacation goes without a few hiccups. In the case of the horror/thriller genre, no getaway is complete without a few scares. In fact, there are usually more than a few.

From the creators of Get Out comes a new chilling tale in the story of Us. Set in present day along the Northern California beaches, Us follows the story of a woman returning to her beachside childhood home with her husband, Gabe and their two children for a summer getaway. Haunted by an unexplainable and unresolved trauma from her past and a string of eerie coincidences, Adelaide feels her paranoia elevate to high-alert as she grows increasingly certain that something bad is going to befall her family. After spending a day at the beach with their friends, the family heads home. When night falls, the Wilsons stumble upon silhouettes of four figures standing in their driveway: doppelgängers of themselves.

Sean McKittrick, Jason Blum, and Monkeypaw’s Ian Cooper combine their minds together to deliver quite the horrific masterpiece.
