With just under two weeks left until the season two premiere of ABC’s The Good Doctor, the first details from the premiere episode have finally been revealed.
At the end of last month, the network dropped the first trailer for the upcoming season revealing that it’s not all rainbows and butterflies at St. Bonaventure in the aftermath the season one finale. Tough times are ahead for Dr. Shaun Murphy, but in all darkness, there is hope. That’s exactly what the newest season two key art is meant to portray.
On Tuesday, The Good Doctor social media accounts shared a bright and hopeful new poster promoting the upcoming season. We see Dr. Shaun Murphy (played by Freddie Highmore) front and center. A bright light illuminates the background and almost looks as if it’s a halo of sorts surrounding Murphy’s head. His eyes are bright and full of promise and he is sporting an ever-so-slight smile which, once again, indicates hope.

Grab your tissues and hold on tight! It’s going to be an emotional season two premiere episode and you can be that will continue on throughout the rest of the season.
In addition to Highmore, Harper, Thomas, Gonzalez, and Schiff, The Good Doctor also stars Tamlyn Tomita, Christina Chang, Fiona Gubelman, Will Yun Lee, and Paige Spara. Lisa Edelstein will be guest starring this season. The series is created by David Shore who also serves executive producer along with Daniel Dae Kim, David Kim, and Sebastian Lee.
