Robert Downey Jr. Tweeted Out the Perfect Chris Evans Meme

A couple of weeks ago, I shared with you all the wonderfully delightful Twitter page called Chris Evans Doing Things, which is a collection of photos showing the Captain America star doing normal things, but somehow hilariously. It included moments such as “Chris Evans yawning as Captain America” and “Chris Evans standing on his tiptoes to hug Chris Hemsworth”.

Basically, the account just further proved that Chris Evans is a ray of sunshine, and the Godfather of the MCU, Robert Downey Jr. recently chimed in with his own meme to confirm this fact. This past weekend the Iron Man star shared a photo that showed a comparison of the always serious Steve Rogers/Captain America next to real-life puppy dog Chris Evans, highlighting just how different Evans is in real life. He captioned the photo, “One Word: Accurate.

Fans were loving it.

Evans and Downey Jr. have been working on Marvel films together since 2012’s The Avengers. Their two characters came to butt heads in 2016’s Civil War and the pair did not get any screen time together during this year’s Infinity War, but after Thanos’ snap, Captain American and Iron Man are still alive so the two will definitely have to work together in Avengers 4. The actors have grown to become great friends over the years and while at a convention earlier this year Chris Evans literally spent about two minutes just fawning over Downey Jr. and it’s the purest thing.

[row]‘It’s low-hanging fruit to say Downey. He’s such a wonderful guy and is so talented, so experienced, and so supportive. He’s always been in my corner and I’ve always felt supported by him. He really brings everybody into the group and makes sure everyone feels welcome, especially on this last one.‘[/row]

Evans also shared a sweet birthday message to Downey Jr. earlier this year.
