SDCC 2018: ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ Season 2 Trailer Teases the Arrival of Spock

The Star Trek: Discovery panel at San Diego Comic-Con provided fans with quite a treat – a sneak peek at the upcoming second season.

The panel was moderated by comedian Tig Notaro who will also be guest starring as Chief Engineer Reno in the upcoming season. Cast members in attendance included Sonequa Martin-Green (Commander Michael Burnham), Doug Jones (Commander Saru), Shazad Latif (Lt. Ash Tyler), Mary Wiseman (Ensign Sylvia Tilly), Anthony Rapp (Lt. Commander Paul Stamets), Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber), Mary Chieffo (L’Rell) and Anson Mount (Captain Christopher Pike). They were joined by executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin.

The footage reveals an in-depth first look at the upcoming season and, best of all, teases the arrival of Spock! Check out the season two first look footage below:

After the first episode premiered on CBS, the series fueled a record-breaking number of sign-ups for the premium streaming service, CBS All Access. Star Trek: Discovery has been well received amongst fans and critics alike as it stays true to the Star Trek legacy while also providing groundbreaking additions to the series.
