Gal Gadot Just Visited a Children’s Hospital Dressed as Wonder Woman

She may be busy filming her latest superhero movie Wonder Woman 1984, but that’s not stopping Gal Gadot from taking her superhero persona into real life! While shooting the highly anticipated sequel near Falls Church, Virginia, Gadot recently stopped by Inova Children’s Hospital in her full Wonder Woman costume to add some literal wonder and fun to the young patients days.

“We are so honored that #WonderWoman stopped by to visit the kids and caregivers at #InovaChildrensHospital!. Thank you @GalGadot. #ForTheKids,” a tweet from the hospital read.

Gadot has always been fantastic with her young fans. Just last year at San Diego Comic-Con she had a touching encounter with a young girl dressed as Wonder Woman who was clearly in awe to be meeting her hero.

Heroes in both the Marvel and DC movie universes are often frequenting Children’s Hospitals dressed as their hero counterparts. Last year, Tom Holland visited Children’s Hospital Los Angeles as Spider-Man and this year he delivered $1 Million in Toys to two California children’s hospitals.

Chris Pratt and Chris Evans took their football rival to another level when their favorite teams played each other in the 2015 Super Bowl. The two made a bet on Twitter that whoever’s team lost would visit a Children’s Hospital in the winning city, dressed as their respective Marvel character. The Patriot’s ended up taking the win and Pratt held up his end of the bargain and visited a Boston Children’s hospital dressed as Star- Lord, and being that Chris Evans basically IS Captain America in real life, he also visited a children’s hospital in Seattle.

Wonder Woman 1984 will find Gadot reprising her role as Diana Prince alongside Chris Pine who will mysteriously be returning as Steve Trevor. The plot is still unknown, but we know that Kristen Wiig has signed on to play popular Wonder Woman villain Cheetah. Patty Jenkins will once again be directing the film, which is sure to be even more successful than the first. 2017’s Wonder Woman was the best-reviewed DCEU film and gave Jenkins the titles of the best opening weekend from a female filmmaker and the highest-grossing live-action film directed by a woman.
