Joseph Gordon-Levitt Wins #TBT With a ’10 Things’ Photo
You’ve probably heard of the iconic teen movie 10 Things I Hate About You. The 1999 film was a cinematic masterpiece that touched on love, life, friendship, and family all wrapped into one honest portrayal of high school.
It was the movie that made us all fall in love with Heath Ledger.
Sorry, one more.
And gave us Kat’s exceptional poem, which was basically the 90’s version of “welcome to your tape” and something true fans can whip out at the drop of a hat.
It also gave us a baby Joseph Gordon-Levitt…but of course, he was still adorable as ever.
So, imagine my glee when I saw that Gordon-Levitt had posted a #TBT from the set of the movie yesterday. I basically looked like this:

The photo features Gordon- Levitt, Ledger, Julia Stiles and Larisa Oleynik looking oh so 90’s and perfect! The movie also starred Andrew Keegan, Gabrielle Union, Allison Janney, David Krumholtz, and Larry Miller.
Next year actually marks the 20th anniversary of the film, so hopefully, Gordon-Levitt’s photo is just the beginning of what is going to be a year of reunions! Unfortunately, Ledger’s passing in 2008 would mean that he would not be a part of any potential reunions, but we know that he will always be with his 10 Things I Hate About You family in spirit!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
