Tom Holland Managed to Spoil ‘Fallen Kingdom’ for Chris Pratt

Even though Mark Ruffalo has been known to give him a run for his money, Tom Holland is the King of Marvel Spoilers. Although, thanks to a recent interview with Chris Pratt, it looks like Spider-Man star has upped the ante and is now spoiling other movies as well. Oh, Tom.

While Pratt, who plays Guardian’s of the Galaxy’s Star-Lord in the MCU, was promoting his latest film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom on Entertainment Weekly Radio, he revealed that Holland somehow managed to spoil the entire plot of Fallen Kingdom for him while the two were both shooting their respective Marvel movies on the same lot.

“Tom, of course, knows [Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom director] J.A. Bayona because of the film The Impossible — Tom was the young guy in that movie.”

Well, Bayona gave Holland a pretty detailed account of what was going to happen in Fallen Kingdom, which he had no problem repeating to Pratt the first chance he got.

“He told me the whole story, so I heard it right from Tom Holland first. And then when I read the script, I was like, Yeah, he wasn’t messing with me, this is all real.”

Holland and Bayona even exchanged a few words over Twitter after Pratt’s interview hit airwaves.

We have to hand it to Tom for making sure his spoiling skills stay polished on the off-season, so he will be good to go when Avengers 4 rolls out into theaters next year. Holland and Pratt’s Marvel characters Peter Quill and Peter Parker spent a decent amount of time together during the most recent Avengers installment Infinity War, and were together for some of the film’s most important moments. They are two of the more comedic characters in the franchise and it looks like that definitely played behind the camera as well based on this fantastic gif we just discovered.

Since Holland isn’t here to fill you in, Fallen Kingdom picks up three years after the events of the first movie, which found Jurassic Worldclosing down after the hybrid dinosaur escaped and wreaked havoc on everyone and everything. “Owen Grady and Claire Dearing return to the island of Isla Nublar to save the remaining dinosaurs from a volcano that’s about to erupt. They soon encounter terrifying new breeds of gigantic dinosaurs, while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the entire planet.”

Fallen Kingdom hits theaters on June 22nd!
