Image Comics/Skybound Announces ‘The Walking Dead’ 15th Anniversary Box Set
It’s hard to believe that The Walking Dead universe is turning 15 this year! In order to celebrate, Image Comics/Skybound has announced a very special (and impressive) collector’s item – The Walking Dead 15th Anniversary Box Set.
The massive box set will packed with over 33oo pages of Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard’s Walking Dead world and promises to be the most complete collection of The Walking Dead ever assembled. This is, for sure, a “must-have” for any Walking Dead fan. In a press release, Aldard commented on the awesomeness of this collection. He said:
[row]“I can’t quite believe it’s been 15 years. This is an amazing box set and it’s something that I would be proud to have on my bookshelf. Here’s to the next anniversary!”[/row]
According to the release from Image Comics/Skybound, “the deluxe box set will include The Walking Dead Compendiums 1, 2, and 3—each with exclusive, new covers—collecting the first 144 issues of the New York Times bestselling survival horror series from Kirkman and Charlie Adlard. In addition to the 144 issues, the set will also include an exclusive and expanded edition of the Here’s Negan trade paperback, which now features the previously uncollected origins of Michonne, Tyrese, the Governor, and Morgan!”
The Walking Dead 15th Anniversary Box Set retails for $200 and will be available to purchase on October 3rd and in bookstores on October 9th, just in time for The Walking Dead Day which will take place on October 13th. You can also pre-order your set now on Amazon.com. The final order cutoff deadline for retailers is Monday, June 11th.
