Emilia Clarke Attempts the Most Adorably Terrible Chewbacca Impression

We are finally just days away from the nationwide theatrical release of Solo: A Star Wars Story and we could not be more pumped for this film.

This week, Emilia Clarke stopped by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to promote the upcoming film.

The Game of Thrones actress had a little fun with Fallon during her interview where the two attempted to mimic the iconic sound of everyone’s favorite Wookiee Chewbacca. Emphasis on the word “attempted.” Clarke adorably tried to translate sayings which Fallon was reading to her into Wookiee speak and, well, let’s just say some things should be left to the Wookiee call experts.

Solo: A Star Wars Story, which will take place several years prior to the era explored in A New Hope, is described by the studio as follows:

[row]“Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.”[/row]

The film stars Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson and Paul Bettany and opens in theaters nationwide this Friday on May 25th! Are you pumped for Solo: A Star Wars Story? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!
