Lauren Cohan Shares Excitement for new Role: “Maggie by day, Frankie by Night”
Lauren Cohan’s schedule is about to get a lot tighter!
The Walking Dead actress’s brand new series, Whiskey Cavalier, has officially been picked up by ABC, and she seems more than ready to take on the challenge of starring on two big series.
She took to Instagram Wednesday, to further share her excitement for the project, and a photo of herself glowing on the ABC Upfronts Red Carpet. She writes:
Whiskey! #WhiskeyCavalier Such a fantastic night yesterday celebrating with my soon to be second family @abcnetwork Maggie by day, Frankie by night 🌹 Glam 💕 @bradgoreski : styling @anthonycampbellhair : hair @andrea_tiller : makeup Suit by @prabalgurung Jewels @rachelkatzjewelry Shoes @giuseppezanotti
She shared this post soon after the trailer for the Whiskey Cavalier dropped, in which we see Lauren completely tearing it up as CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge. Perfect, right? In it, she stars alongside Scandal‘s Scott Foley.
Walking Dead fans are still showing some concern about her return to the series, and all we do know for sure right now, is that she is signed on to at least the first half of season 9. What Maggie Greene’s future holds on the show is still to be determined. She still has some story to go, and she’s still pregnant with Glenn’s baby. Last we saw her, she was beginning to conspire against Rick-which is an unexpected move and one that could change her future in a big way.
Not only does Cohan have these two projects going on, but she recently finished working on STX Films’ Mile 22. That trailer just dropped this week, and stars Cohan alongside Mark Wahlberg. Wahlberg is co-producing the film which also stars Iko Uwais, Ronda Rousey and John Malkovich.
