Even Thanos Would Give This Hilarious Marvel Assignment an “A”
When it comes to the world of Marvel (and even the Marvel Cinematic Universe), it’s safe to say that there is an infinite group of characters involved.
That’s probably what teacher Jeffrey Scott Davis was thinking when he gave his students the assignment “pick a Marvel character to embody within a resume and cover letter.”
One student saw this as a perfect opportunity to troll the heck out of his teacher while still technically following the rules of the assignment. See for yourself:
That’s right. This kid did that. He chose to embody the character of Groot, who literally only speaks three words.
His cover letter did not disappoint either:
“The idea that you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take lives within one particular student of mine.” Way to go, kid. You deserve the job and Groot would definitely be proud!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
