‘Bosch’: Titus Welliver Shares Season 5 Source Material

Fans of the Amazon Prime original series Bosch were thrilled to find out which Michael Connelly novel would be the source material for season 5.

Titus Welliver plays lead character Detective Harry Bosch on the popular crime series. Titus shared on Twitter that the forthcoming season 5 of Bosch would be based in part on the Michael Connelly novel Two Kinds of Truth. He went on to reveal that this is also his favorite book in the series.

Fans of both the novels and the streaming series know that the show does not always match the books. So far, there have been differences in each season between the two platforms. Personally, I think that keeps it even more engaging for fans of the books. As amazing as it is to see your favorite book characters appear on screen, it’s even more exciting to not know for sure how the story will unravel.

Michael Connelly also shared this link to a description of Two Kinds of Truth on his website. Fans can follow the best-selling author’s website for ongoing updates on his writing as well as the show. The site boasts blog posts, photos, videos and more to keep fans informed.

The announcement of a season 5 Bosch came shortly before season 4 was released on Amazon Prime. That was a special treat for fans, knowing that even once they binged their way through season 4, they could be certain that there would be more to come.

Meanwhile, Bosch seasons 1 through 4 are available for streaming on Amazon Prime. You can also check out recaps and cast interviews here on Fan Fest. If you are a podcast listener, check out the Everybody Counts podcast for further discussion of the series.
