Happy Birthday, Daniel Sharman!

Michael Desmond/AMC

Well, we’re just giving away birthdays now! Along with Jeffrey Demunn’s birthday, today we also celebrate Fear the Walking Dead’s favorite villain to-date, Daniel Sharman.

Daniel Andrew Sharman was born in 1986 in Hackney, London, England.

His first role was in the independent film The Last Days of Edgar Harding. He also appeared in such films as Immortals and The Collection.

Television credits include roles in The Nine Lives of Chloe King, Mercy Street, The Originals and Teen Wolf.

He is best known to fans as Troy Otto on The Walking Dead’s sister series. Sharman began his role as Troy in Fear’s third season. He, his brother Jake and father Jeremiah owned the Broke Jaw ranch which was built as a sanctuary for the apocalypse.

His dark side and psychopathic tendencies lead him to be exiled by the community after the death of his father. While isolated, he snaps and seeks revenge by luring a horde of infected to the ranch. His actions eventually caused everyone’s death including his brother Jake. Leaving him and the main cast as the only survivors.

He is later killed by Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) after he confesses that he is the reason they lost the ranch.

Since his departure from Fear, Sharman set to appear in the second season of Medici: Masters of Florence which will be available on Netflix sometime after it airs in Italy.

Until then, fans can catch Daniel at Nashville’s Walker Stalker Convention in May along with other cast members of both Walking Dead series.

Happy Birthday, Daniel!
