Hulu Cancels ‘The Path’ After Three Seasons

Hulu is calling it quits on The Path as the streaming service has opted to cancel their cult drama after three seasons.

“While it’s sad that The Path is ending, I’m brimming with gratitude and pride. It was a gift to be able to tell challenging and emotional stories for three seasons in this very strange and unique world. The caliber of talent and passion everyone who worked on this show brought — from my partners Jason Katims and Michelle Lee, the execs at Hulu, the writers, actors, directors, designers, and crew — was something to behold, and for which I’m very thankful. Thanks Hulu and Universal Television for taking a shot on this show; it was a life-changing experience,” series creator Jessica Goldberg said in a statement.

Goldberg also announced the news on her Twitter account.

Series star Aaron Paul who played Eddie Lane, a member of the Meyerist movement, also took to Twitter to express his gratitude to the cast, crew, Hulu, and the fans.

The Path just recently wrapped its third season at the end of March, with the season finale now serving as the series finale. It also starred Hannibal’s Hugh Dancy and True Detective’s Michelle Monaghan. As sad as audiences are to see the show go, they thankfully have all 36 episodes currently streaming and forever housed at Hulu! Were you a fan of The Path? Are you happy with how the series ended?
