‘The Alienist’ Finale Preview – ‘Castle in the Sky’

This is it!  The final episode of The Alienist is upon us and there’s only one question on everyone’s mind – Will they catch the killer before he kills again?

Last week’s episode left off on a shocking cliffhanger where Joseph had just witnessed our killer in action.  Joseph’s hiding spot was discovered and he could be in grave danger unless our investigative team can intervene in time.

Moore, Sara and the Isaacsons are still chasing clues – each one bringing them closer and closer to discovering the killer’s whereabouts.  Kreizler (poor Kreizler) is mourning the loss of his friend, his love, Mary.  Can he pull himself together long enough to lead the investigative team to solve the murders?

All questions will be answered (we hope) in Monday’s new episode titled Castle in the Sky.  The episode title alone gives us chills!

Check out the official synopsis as well as a brief promo and full season recap below before Monday’s finale episode:

Synopsis:

“Kreizler (Daniel Brühl) confronts the demons of his past. Moore (Luke Evans) tells Sara (Dakota Fanning) the truth. Connor (David Wilmot) takes matters into his own hands. The team closes in on the killer as time is running out.”

About The Alienist: “The Alienist is an upcoming American drama television series based on the novel of the same name by Caleb Carr. The psychological thriller drama is set in 1896 when a series of gruesome murders of boy prostitutes has gripped the city. Newly appointed top cop Teddy Roosevelt calls upon Dr. Laszlo Kreizler, a criminal psychologist — aka alienist — and newspaper illustrator John Moore to conduct the investigation in secret. Joining them in the probe is Sara Howard, a headstrong secretary at Police Headquarters.”

The Alienist airs on Monday nights at 9 PM EST on TNT.  Will you be watching?
