‘The Walking Dead’: Michael Cudlitz, Christian Serratos, Sonequa Martin Greene Panel Recap WSC London

Walker Stalker Convention

Walker Stalker Convention overtook London this weekend, where many cast members-old and new-from The Walking Dead were able to reunite.

Michael Cudlitz, (Abraham), Christian Serratos (Rosita), and Sonequa Martin Greene (Sasha) joined fans for a panel where they reminisced and shared fun facts about their time on the show.

One thing that Christian still remembers is that she was the last to know when Michael Cudlitz found out he was going to be leaving the series. According to them, Andrew Lincoln was the one to spill the beans to everyone-except Christian!

Fans were curious as to who they think was most affected by Abraham’s death-Sasha or Rosita? The two women agreed that his death probably affected them both profoundly but in different ways.

This led the two to talk about how beautifully the characters are able to be shown expressing all sorts of real-world emotions, even though they are surrounded by zombies. It isn’t your traditional “horror film” environment.

Serratos is the only actor still on the show out of the three, and her character Rosita is at a point where she is coming into her own and really finding her voice on the show. During the first half of the season, her character epic-ly shoots one of Negan’s lackeys with a bazooka that shoots flames, incinerating him right then and there. She’s not messing around.

Sonequa touched on her Stark Trek: Discovery role as Michael Burhnam, and excitedly told fans that she loves being a newfound Trekkie!

You can find Sonequa on Star Trek: Discovery these days, and Michael Cudlitz is working on a few projects that are currently in pre-production.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 PM ET on AMC.
