Kristen Wiig Confirmed as ‘Wonder Woman 2’ Villain
One week ago, rumors began to swirl that SNL star Kristen Wiig was in early talks to join the DCEU as the iconic Wonder Woman villain Cheetah. On Friday, those rumors were confirmed.
Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins has confirmed Wiig’s casting via a post on her Twitter page this morning. In her post, she says, “So excited to confirm the most thrilling news. Yes! It’s true! So incredibly lucky to welcome the sensationally talented Kristen Wiig to our Wonder Woman family. Can’t wait to finally work with one of my favorites. And SO excited by what we have planned.”
