Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan Share Emotional Story of Their Miracle Baby

In the US, 1 in 4 mother’s will lose their pregnancy. That’s an incredibly painful statistic when you think about it. Taking it a step further, 1 in 60 women giving birth will experience a stillbirth or neonatal death.

Women are more than statistics though, especially when it comes to a topic as sensitive as this one. It’s not openly discussed nor is it well understood. All of the science and facts in the world couldn’t explain that loss to a mother or to an expecting couple.

So when women and their partners can speak out about it; it helps people across the world who struggle with fertility and loss feel less alone. Especially when they have a platform.

Recently, Jeffrey Dean Morgan said he and wife Hilarie Burton had been trying for a while to have another child, so this pregnancy was something incredibly special. Fans weren’t made privy to information about her birth until today, but we did know that she made her arrival very recently.

Today, all of that made a little more sense.

Not only did the family want time to adjust to the new addition, they wanted to soak in all of her beautiful first moments. Especially since she’s such a miracle to their family.

With our upcoming Walker Stalker convention just days away, Hilarie and Jeffrey both wanted to share the story of their sweet daughter in a special way. So she shared an Instagram post with some beautiful photos and an even more beautiful story.

George Virginia Morgan was born on February 16th and she is a blessing to their family in the most beautiful way. Hilarie shared their story of loss, more than once, in hopes that she could reach other families who have suffered the same way. Other women who have known pain deeper than words can truly describe.

She also wanted to share George’s story in hopes that she could bring hope to families who are still trying. So they wouldn’t know the pain that she felt herself.

We couldn’t be happier for Hilarie, Jeffrey, Gus, and George and we are sending them all of our love and best wishes.
