WATCH: New ‘The Walking Dead’ Television Promos Poke Fun at the Winter Olympics

We’ve got two more weeks until the highly-anticipated and most likely completely devastating return of The Walking Dead airs on AMC.  Leading up to this heartbreaking return, however, the world is consumed by the 2018 Winter Olympics taking place in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

AMC knows that the Winter Games may not be for everyone, particularly those fans who are desperately waiting for The Walking Dead to return and that’s specifically who they are targeting in a new promo campaign coming soon to a TV near you.

In the below three TV spots, The Walking Dead targets fair-weather fans of the popular Winter Games sports, curling, figure skating and skiing with a pretty hilarious comparison showing the lack of Olympic sports knowledge and abundance of The Walking Dead knowledge.

Check out the below television spots, courtesy of Mashable, below.  The Walking Dead will return with all new episodes starting Sunday, February 25th at 9 PM EST.  The midseason premiere is a supersized episode and, make sure you have your tissues ready!
