Kicking Off the Marvel Cinematic Universe 10-Year Anniversary Celebration

It’s hard to believe it’s already been 10 years since the Marvel first kicked off its cinematic journey with Iron Man in May of 2008.

During October of last year, the studio gathered over 80 actors and filmmakers who have left their mark on the MCU over the past ten years for one epic group photo op session on the set of Avengers: Infinity War.  Today, Marvel shared the full photo via their social media pages to kick off a year-long celebration commemorating a decade’s worth of Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

In addition to the epic photo, the studio also released a behind-the-scenes look at the day’s events while kicking off a sweepstakes event for fans!  Over the next five weeks, from February 8th to March 15th, each week will feature a different MCU film.  During the week, fans can post photos, personal memories, stories, etc of the featured film via Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #Marvel10YearSweepstakes to be entered for a chance to win awesome prizes.  The press release from Marvel reads:

Each week, a drawing will take place and a winner will be selected. The weekly winner will receive the Ultimate Marvel Fan prize package, including Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” set visit; Marvel Studios visit and tour; tickets to Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” premiere; all transportation and lodging; and more.
