Marvel legend Stan Lee is in stable condition tonight after being rushed to Cedars-Sinai hospital on Wednesday while suffering from shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a rep for Lee confirmed the incident and said that the hospital stay is simply a precaution at this time. The rep said in a statement:
“Stan is doing well and feeling good. He is staying there for a few days for some check-ups as a safety precaution.”
The news was first reported on Thursday evening by TMZ.
Lee turned 95 years old this past December and had just attended the Black Panther premiere Monday evening posing for photos with the film’s stars.
