‘The Good Doctor’ Episode Preview – ‘Islands Part Two’
Last week’s episode of The Good Doctor left us with so many questions that still need to be answered. While what’s left of the surgical team at St. Bonaventure hospital works to save the lives of conjoined twins Katie and Jenny, Dr. Shaun Murphy is struggling with the news that Lea will be leaving San Jose. After their fun road trip, Shaun really connected with Lea and was clearly devastated when she told him of her plans to leave. How will Shaun react to this news?
In this Monday’s episode, we’ll see what happens when Shaun finally returns to work. In a shocking twist, Shaun resigns, giving his two weeks’ notice to Dr. Aaron Glassman. What is happening!? Is Shaun going to follow Lea when she leaves? Is this the end of The Good Doctor?

“The twins suffer complications from their surgery forcing the team at San Jose Bonaventure Hospital to make a life-changing decision. Meanwhile, Dr. Shaun Murphy returns to the hospital after his trip with Lea and decides he needs a more permanent change and gives Dr. Aaron Glassman his two weeks’ notice.”

“Islands Part Two” was written by Thomas L. Moran and William Rotko and directed by Cherie Nowlan.
From Sony Pictures Television and ABC Studios, The Good Doctor stars Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy, Antonia Thomas as Dr. Claire Browne, Nicholas Gonzalez as Dr. Neil Melendez, Chuku Modu as Dr. Jared Kalu, Beau Garrett as Jessica Preston, Hill Harper as Dr. Marcus Andrews, Richard Schiff as Dr. Aaron Glassman and Tamlyn Tomita as Allegra Aoki. The series is written by David Shore (House). Shore is also an executive producer along with Daniel Dae Kim (Lost, Hawaii Five-O), David Kim and Sebastian Lee.
