You Can Now Stream all 8 ‘Harry Potter’ Films on HBO

I don’t know about you, but on this recent Christmas break I took full advantage of the Harry Potter marathon on Freeform. Not only did it remind me, hard, of my childhood. But when was the last time I had time to sit down and watch these classic films that built us all in a matter of a few days?

I’ve caught bits and pieces, but it was nice to re-watch many moments I had forgotten about. When the marathon came to a close on New Year’s Eve, I felt the same emotions I originally felt when the series itself ended.

If you own the set on DVD or Blu-Ray, you’re all set! There is great news now for those of us who don’t. All 8 films are now streaming on HBO Now.

The films that hit the big screen in 2001 are based on J.K. Rowling’s magical novels. Can you believe she had the idea for The Boy Who Lived almost 30 years ago? About five years later she began writing Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone. The film series lasted a total of 10 years and explored the life of Harry Potter, a wizard who finds his way in a whole new world to defeat evil and find answers with the help of his two best friends. Now, the series is ingrained into many of us, and hopefully we can share it with generations to come. With HBO’s help, this will be much easier.

The full marathon takes 19 hours and 39 minutes total, so we know what we’re doing Saturday and Sunday. Every Saturday and Sunday. For the rest of time.
