‘The Walking Dead’ Season 8B Premiere Date Announced
SPOILER WARNING! The following article contains spoilers from the season 8 winter finale of the Walking Dead. Only read on only if you are caught up with the series.
The first half of The Walking Dead season 8 ending with a HUGE shocker when it is revealed to Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) that his son, Carl (Chandler Riggs), has been bitten by a walker. In the past, and depending on the location of the bite, our survivors have been able to save their fellow group members though amputations, however, due to the location of this bite, it appears that this is the imminent end for Carl.
Fans are flipping out over this revelation, especially since this is a massive departure from the comic book storyline for the character. This shocking twist of events has left us all wonder, “Just where can the series go from here?” “What’s going to happen to Carl?” and, of course, “When in February does the series return so we can find out the answers to all these questions?”
Well, we can answer one of these for you right now! Take out your calendars and get ready to mark the date. AMC has announced that The Walking Dead will pick back up and premiere the second half of season 8 on Sunday, February 25th.
