Marvel’s ‘The Punisher’ Announces Season 2

Frank Castle is back for more.

Tuesday afternoon, Marvel officially announced via Twitter the return of ‘The Punisher’ Season 2 which will air on Netflix.

After appearing as a guest star on Marvel’s Daredevil season 2, ‘The Punisher’ has graduated to it’s very own series. It debuted on Netflix on November 17th, making this announcement for season 2 only less than a month later. The vigilante Frank Castle, played by The Walking Dead alumni, Jon Bernthal, uses lethal methods to take down his enemies and anyone involved with the murder of his entire family.

‘The Punisher’ is the sixth title of Marvel characters on Netflix including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders.  With Jessica Jones season 2 reaching Netflix on March 8th, 2018 and Luke Cage season 2 to premiere in 2018, alongside a possible season 3 of The Daredevil – where will season 2 of ‘The Punisher’ fit in? Marvel has not given us a release date for the second season just yet. But let it be comforting to know it is on it’s way to Netflix in the near future.

Watch the first 13 episodes of ‘The Punisher’ now on Netflix.
