It’s hard to believe that we are already at this point but, Monday’s episode of The Good Doctor is the mid-season finale and it’s going to be a BIG one!
Throughout the first 9 episodes of the season, we’ve seen Dr. Shaun Murphy grow in leaps and bounds, particularly when it comes to his social interactions with his neighbor Lea. In Monday night’s episode, however, something happens which causes Shaun to have a full-on meltdown. Additionally, Dr. Claire Browne is put in a rather awkward position when a new doctor at San Jose St. Bonaventure makes inappropriate advances towards her.
The official synopsis for Monday night’s episode titled Sacrifice reads as follows:
“Members of the hospital’s surgical team are initially impressed with a charming young doctor, but his true character puts one of them in an awkward position at work. Meanwhile, Dr. Glassman feels Dr. Shaun Murphy needs a little more support with his personal life and suggests he meet with a therapist. However, Shaun is determined to show him that he can do it on his own.”
