Nielsen Social Ratings: October 23 – October 29

Welcome to another week of the Nielsen Social Top 10!

Topping the list again this week is The Walking Dead. But their number one spot comes with far fewer interactions week-to-week, falling from over 2.5 million to just 706,000. The unique social media accounts also fell. Coming in at number two was WWE Monday Night RAW. The Monday night block of wrestling jumped up two spots and earning 417,000 interactions which were up from last week.

This Is Us rebounded a bit from last week, landing in the number four spot. The NBC family drama also earned about 20,000 more interactions this week as compared to the previous week’s numbers.

Supernatural and Scandal made appearances for the first time in a bit this week on the top 10. The CW series landed the number eight spot while the ABC political drama came in at number nine.

The series that didn’t make the top 10 this week was CW’s Riverdale.

As a refresher: the Content Ratings use the total number of social interactions across Facebook and Twitter to rank the top 10 series/specials and sporting events, separately. The chart includes uniques, which are “unique social media accounts that have authored original content related to a linear TV episode or engaged with that content,” and interactions, which are “original social media posts related to a linear TV episode and the engagement with that content.”
