‘Arrow’: David Ramsey Dons ‘his’ Green Arrow Costume
It may have come as a surprise, but it is certainly no longer a secret. Diggle is the new Green Arrow. While, yes, we have seen Diggle suit up before this time it is going to be completely different. It would appear as though this is not going to be a one day thing, in fact – we can expect Diggle to be suiting up as The Green Arrow for quite some time.
David Ramsey recently posted the following image on his Instagram, with the caption ‘Stephen Amell, until your return my friend… I accept,’
I have to say, he looks pretty awesome! The costume may suit Diggle pretty well, but the big question is… can he fill in Oliver’s shoes?
This season, Dinah noticed that Diggle had issues firing his weapon on multiple occasions, one of which resulted in Wild Dog getting severely injured and in the hospital. After Dinah was almost killed by one of Anatoly’s men, Diggle opened up to her about how he took some shrapnel to the shoulder on Lian Yu, resulting in degenerative nerve damage. When Diggle went to talk to Oliver about the issue, he fell quiet when his friend asked him to put on the hood once more.
Given how emotionally strained Diggle has been the past two seasons, Diggle has a lot of ghosts that haunt him. It is quite possible that we will see some significant strains in Diggle’s relationship with his team members… however let us continue to hope that is not going to be the case – Diggle has been through too much already!
Arrow returns on Thursday, October 26th at 8PM/EST on The CW.
