Seth MacFarlane’s ‘Flintstones’ Reboot isn’t Happening
The Flintstones was an iconic animated series that opened the door for shows like The Simpsons and Family Guy. Funny enough, Family Guy creater, Seth MacFarlane was rumored to bring The Flintstones back to life. This rumor has been in the works for a couple of years now.
Unfortunately, MacFarlane has squashed this rumor during a Reddit AMA.
“As of now, probably not. Honestly I couldn’t figure out a way to find enough differentiation between a modern-day Fred Flintstone and… Peter Griffin.”
This news isn’t all that shocking. The Flintstones is a show set in the stone age and modernizing this would be difficult. MacFarlane is also working on his new show, The Orville.
Personally, I am not a fan of Seth MacFarlane’s work. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve never really liked it. What I do know is that it’s sad when someone has to give up a project.
While this is unfortunate news for MacFarlane fans, you can still check out The Orville.
