‘American Idol’ Reboot Finds Their Second Celebrity Judge
American Idol fans have something to “shake it” for today as ABC has announced who their second celebrity judge will be.
Representing the country genre on the panel will be Luke Bryan, known for hits such as “Huntin’, Fishin’ & Lovin’ Every Day”, “That’s My Kind of Night” and having an all-around shakable behind.
Bryan will be joining Katy Perry, who signed on as a host a few months ago, and the show will be hosted by its original host and all around entertainment robot, Ryan Seacrest. There’s still one more seat left to fill on the panel and the rumor mill is running wild, especially with auditions kicking off in just a couple of days. Currently Charlie Puth and Keith Urban are the frontrunners, but those names could change any second.
The original American Idol ran for 15 seasons on FOX, shelling out popular artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert, Jennifer Hudson and Phillip Phillips. This new iteration of the series will be moving to ABC and will most likely follow the same format as its predecessor. You can expect the new American Idol reboot to premiere in March shortly after The Academy Awards.
What do you think of the newest judge addition? Who would you like to see in the third seat?

Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
