The New York Philharmonic Presents: ‘Star Wars’ In Concert

The New York Philharmonic located at Lincoln Center in New York City is bringing one of the biggest movie series to its concert hall throughout September and October. Star Wars in concert takes the iconic music of legendary composer John Williams and performs it live set to the complete film.

Currently, four of the films have been chosen to be performed:

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope kicks off the concert series on September 15th and 16th, 2017.

Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back continues the series on September 26th, 27th and 28th, 2017.

Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi will be performed on October 4th and 5th, 2017.

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens concludes the series on October 6th and 7th, 2017.

If you’ve never been to the New York Philharmonic, I highly recommend going at least once, if not for one of their Star Wars concerts(though why wouldn’t you), then for any of their other performances. Tickets for any of these performances can be purchased online at The New York Philharmonic.

Ever since his first viewing of Star Wars at 3 years old in 1977, Gene has been interested in all things nerd. Podcaster by day, writer by night, fan everytime, there is nothing in the pop culture world that Gene doesn’t enjoy.
