‘Stranger Things’ Will Have Third Season, Will Likely End After the Fourth

Stranger Things will happen once more, Ross Duffer confirmed to Vulture Sunday.

Ross of the Duffer brothers, and creators of the hit Netflix series, Stranger Things made his longterm plan for the series public.

“We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out,” he says in the interview.

So, not only did he just confirm a third, but basically confirmed a fourth.
He also spoke so candidly, that we are pretty sure it’s a matter of choice how long to take the show, after its unprecedented success when it was released last year. In other words, they can do whatever they want.
Interestingly enough, he added that they would be almost college aged by that time, because he isn’t planning on making “Stranger Things” happen to the characters once a year in their lifetimes. It has to be more spread out than that to make the alien upside down world seem realistic.
“We just have to keep adjusting the story. Though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year.”
Season 2 of Stranger Things is set to hit Netflix on October 27th. That will be a good day.
