Gaming: ‘Jurassic World Evolution’ is coming to your Game Consoles!
Frontier Developments – the studio that brought you Elite Dangerous – has just announced that they have plans to released a Jusrassic World themed game, Jurassic World Evolution.
The game will take place on the island of Isla Nublar and will be based off of the 2015 movie. The studio has high hopes to officially launch the game in summer of 2018 for Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC.
The team officially unveiled the game during Microsoft’s pre-Gamescom press conference in Cologne, Germany.
Jurassic World Evolution places players in control of operations on the legendary island of Isla Nublar, first seen in 1993’s Jurassic Park and revisited in 2015’s Jurassic World, and the surrounding islands of the Muertes Archipelago.
The game has players working to build their own Jurassic World as they bioengineer new dinosaur breeds, and construct attractions, containment and research facilities. “Every choice leads to a different path and spectacular challenges will arise when ‘life finds a way,'” according to Microsoft.
While the Jurassic Park franchise fans await the release of this game, they can currently enjoy Lego Jurassic World for Xbox One and PS4.
