‘Arrow’: What can ‘Olicity’ fans expect in Season 6?
Ever since their breakup back in Season 4, fans have been clawing and dying to know whether there is any hope for Olicity. Well – I would say that they have been praying that there will be hope for the couple.
In the Season 5 finale of Arrow, before he went off to go face off against Proemtheus, Felicity and Oliver shared a kiss, sparking hope in the hearts of all Olicity fans across the Arrowverse.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, EP Marc Guggenehim discussed how the couple are currently on a road to recovery:
“We put them on a very specific trajectory at the end of Season 5. It would be very schizophrenic for us to suddenly take them off that trajectory.”
So while it is yet to be determined in regards to how the pair will be down the line, we do know one thing for certain in regards to the couple when it comes to the season premiere – well, for all of our couples, actually:
“There is not a single romantic kiss between any two characters in the season premiere.”
Fans of the show are not the only ones who would like to see the couple reunite. At SDCC last month, both Stephen and Emily shared their thoughts on Olicity as well:
“If she’s alive, I hope that they reconcile the involvement of William and then get married. I mean, he proposed already. He’s been sitting around. Waiting. So hopefully that happens.”
So… could we be seeing wedding bells for the duo? It looks like we’ll have to wait and see!
